Biography:

A native of Richmond, Virginia, Harold and his ridiculously gorgeous wife (Cynthia) now make their home in Fredericksburg, VA where they enjoy active lifestyles that includes yoga, biking, tennis and overall wellness. Harold and Cynthia enjoy serving members of the community through volunteerism and assisting those in need with professional development through career counseling and mentoring activities. Whether nurturing friends in need or serving through actively being present amid a new acquaintance, Harold and Cynthia operate from a place of gratitude which continues adding enjoyment to their lives through their service to others.

Accomplished, servant leader with 29 years information technology (IT) experience with specific focus on Motivational Leadership & Coaching, Service Management (ITSM), Human Capital Management, Relationship Building and Service Delivery. IT Consulting & Leadership Development:
Consulting engagements include but are not limited to strategic initiatives, executive communications, organizational policy directives in addition to CIO-driven projects requiring rapid turnaround and execution.

Leadership/Management:
Financial, strategic, tactical and operational direction of a large academic medical center team which supports a fast-paced, dynamic environment with well over 15,000 associates composed of doctors, nurses, students, academic and clinical support staff. Directly responsible for operational components associated with change, incident and problem management for the IT support staff which totals 200 technical professionals.

Policy Development & Implementation:
Implemented and executed a robust enterprise IT Change Management & Security Policy which significantly improved organizational participation, collaboration, accountability and IT performance.

IT Program Management & Systems Development & Product Enhancements:
IT Program Manager and client liaison for the $200 million Children’s Hospital of Richmond Pavilion capital project. Responsible for directing all IT equipment supporting new building completion in 2016. Facilitated and consulted on clinical application integration, device interfaces and logistical locations related to IT equipment needs.  Implemented electronic enterprise IT reporting replete with integrated metrics to allow benchmarking and accurate performance forecasting and real time outage notifications. Directed and successfully implemented application upgrade of Computer Associate’s (CA) Enterprise product suite Service Delivery Manager.

Strategic Collaboration & Customer Relationship Management:
Established and maintained long term, collaborative relationships throughout the organization with diverse customer-base, senior leadership and key strategic support personnel via clinical rounding. Directed customer relationship management initiatives with increased responsibility for turnaround management and service delivery processes that are in compliance with policies, regulations, industry standards and best practices for one of Richmond’s premiere academic medical centers.
